Our annual Chili Cook-off will take place on Saturday, March 15, from 5-9pm in the Morris/Nelson room at Independence Center. We will have a cowboy-themed cook-off so start getting your outfit ready...the best dressed might just receive a special prize!
The entry fee is $15 per person and all active members, and their guests are welcomed. We will serve 10 different chilis prepared by our club members, cornbread, and all the fixins'. Our esteemed panel of judges will then taste all chilis and award prizes to the top 3 cooks.
Hence, we will need 10 volunteers to show off their cooking chops and unique chili recipes and compete for the coveted title. We are also looking for a couple of cooks to wow us with their yummy cornbread. All cooks will be reimbursed up to $60 for their groceries.
